American Sniper Blog by Matt Graus

The book I am reading is American Sniper by Chris Kyle. Chris Kyle is the American sniper himself meaning this book is a auto biography. Early in his life he worked on a farm and went to high school. Chris liked to ride horses and enter shows with his talent. Another thing he loved was guns. He liked hunting and he also liked to just shoot guns. Then after high school he decided he was going to go to college to get the experience. He didn't last long in college and eventually dropped out to join the military. His main goal was to become a Navy Seal. To become a Navy Seal you need to complete 2 months of the most intense training anybody could receive. In those 2 months there's a specific week called hell week. During that week you go through rough training without going to sleep that whole week. Chris Kyle explained as the worst week of his life. But he made it out of that week and finished the rest of his training and became a Navy Seal as he dreamed.

Have you ever pictured yourself in the military? Or doing something to protect a person or several? Well I have and I wouldn't mind protecting and serving for my country just like Chris Kyle. Both of my Grandfathers were in the marines. So I've always had that thought in the back of my head that one day I might want to be a marine. I am in the same situation as Chris Kyle right now. Just like him I want to join the military but I also want to go to college. Therefore I am going to go to college and get the college experience that everyone talks about. And then once I've finished college, if I still want to, I will enlist into the marines.
